Long time since last posted here. Lots of things happened in past few weeks major one being change in work place .. something which one of my corporate friends gave a nice title 'from making art movies to commercial ones'. It is too early to comment about the work here, but something tells me that i am going to hate this decision of mine in future...
The last week at my previous work place gave me the reasons why i love that place and the people there so much. Apart from the formal farewell party and the speeches , there were a few sweet surprises.
S was on leave for that week , but she came down on the last day to send me off..there were so many people wishing good luck.. some of them i knew only by face and dint know their names, the operations staff from different dps who have been using my s/w, the operations director for the recent mission .. i felt very happy as these were my earnings here. the most pleasant surprise was a gift from a lady from different group, i had been interacting with her on a few occasions, but not that much to deserve a parting gift from her, it was so nice of her.
but the last day also confirmed my doubts that someone has been very silently and in a very calculated manner has been spreading stupid rumours about me..
I am writing this post from the new place, i am not sure i really like it... first two days i felt like going back to the earlier place..but i guess i am settling down in this new glittering world. KJ had warned me to be ready for what he calls as culture shock...have already got a few doses of this shock. people use swear words for every small irritation, i think the high salaries here make people get that ego and over confidence that they are the best. luckily the team i work with is good.. and thats a big plus for me.
have got a lot to talk about things here.. but i think i must take time to digest things here and then form an opinion. those who think why i have to crib abt it soo much .. as anyways it was my decision to move on ... they deserve a session from me abt life ... and its strange ways.
i am planning to start a tech blog on topics that interest me , technologies which ive been working on and plan to work on...hopefully if time permits.
