Salaam-e-ishq

Watched Salaam-e-ishq on tv yesterday. absolutely loved this one. braved all those advert breaks and saw it fully. this signifies a complete 180degrees turn for me , i rarely watch hindi movies and never ever watch love stories.. i remember coming out of the theatre from two such biggest blockbusters of their time before interval..will not name them lest fans shoot me down for blasphemy.. :) but i loved this one.

this was also a chance my friend from college days 'A' would have loved to get to take revenge on me.. but fortunately he is in US, dint see me watching this movie and he is unaware of my blog. :). it was in those days when we were still in early (which i presume is too late a start, taking the current standards) stages of understanding love ( used to debate a lot in childish way) when i saw him cry while watching 'Titanic' :-) , i spread the word around unintentionally .. and what we had was 'A' being pulled at all times and he scolding me for what he termed as 'spreading pamphlets'. he looked a toughie with hair like bobby deol in 'Soldier', and his crying while watching a movie was a big news ... :-).

Anyways i am going to watch this movie again . i liked these lines from one of its song

love means wanting the best for the one you love. even if it means staying away if you are not the best.

To add to the mood this movie created , there was Sangam playing in one of the channels , in one of the breaks i switched over to watch this beautiful song from Sangam. Result : no sleep all night.
